A collision involving two cars and a motorcycle left the motorcyclist breathing but unresponsive early Tuesday morning. The head-on crash took place on June 11 in Fallbrook near Interstate 15 and was reported just before 5:30 a.m. California Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation into details about the crash. The motorcyclist sustained major injuries, requiring airlift to a local hospital immediately following the crash, but further details about the injuries were not yet available.
The law offices of Berman & Riedel, LLP, wishes a speedy and full recovery to the injured motorcyclist, and we encourage other traveling motorists to be on the lookout for motorcycles so that accidents can be avoided. Collisions between cars and motorcycles are unfortunately all-too-common in Southern California where the temperate climate permits year-round motorcycle riding. Accidents involving motorcycle operators typically yield serious injury to the unprotected rider and are often caused by the negligent operation of other automobiles. Drivers of cars and trucks are often unaware of the presence of motorcycles and fail to acknowledge their presence in traffic, which adds to the danger of riding a motorcycle.
